VOTE Norma Sanchez Stephens for Cibolo City Council Place 5

It has truly been an honor to serve as a Council member for District 5 and our City of Cibolo. It has been with a sense of duty to service that I have sought to diligently represent our city with integrity, transparency, and a commitment to the needs of our residents. 

 I was elected in the May 2023 special election to complete an 18-month term for District 5. Since this short term is coming to completion, I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Council Place 5 At Large, and it would be a privilege to have your support  of my continued service for a full three year term. 

A little bit about me....

I’m a proud American and native Texan born and raised in the Northeast San Antonio area and graduated from Judson High School. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Incarnate Word while working through college. As a first generation graduate, this achievement was particularly meaningful. I spent nearly a decade as a Mortgage Loan Officer before becoming a proud full time mom and supportive military spouse when my husband was deployed to Iraq with the Texas Army National Guard. Transitioning from the Mortgage Industry led me to employment in the Health and Wellness Industry at our local YMCA which allowed our family to build community connections.  After 25 years of marriage and raising our five children, ages 10 to 19, we feel incredibly grateful to have called Cibolo our home since 2018. It’s been a joy to watch our children thrive in this small-town atmosphere, surrounded by wonderful neighbors and friends in the community.
